Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fliptel Jobs (the "Service"), operated at fliptel.jobs. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Fliptel Jobs is

Fliptel Jobs is a job listings platform. Some listings are aggregated from third-party sources and are provided for informational purposes; Fliptel Jobs is not the employer for any listed vacancy and does not guarantee that any listing is accurate, current, or genuine. You are responsible for exercising your own judgement, including verifying an employer's legitimacy, before applying, sharing personal information, or making any payment in connection with a job listing.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including a valid phone number used for M-Pesa payments.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Free access and subscriptions

A limited preview of each job listing is available to all visitors. Full listing details, including the employer's application link, require an active paid subscription, unless you are accessing the Service through a valid free-access link (see Section 5).

The current subscription price is displayed at signup and on the subscribe page (KES 250 per successful charge at the time of writing) and is billed via M-Pesa through our payment processor, Paystack.
A subscription grants full access for a period of 30 days from the date payment is confirmed successful. Access is not automatically recurring — you will need to return and pay again once your 30 days lapse, using the subscribe/renew page.
You are responsible for entering your M-Pesa PIN promptly when prompted. If a charge is not completed on your phone, no payment is taken and no access is granted.

Payments and refunds. Because a subscription grants immediate digital access to listing content, payments are generally non-refundable once your access period has started. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge with no corresponding access grant, or a charge you did not authorise — contact us via the Contact Us page with your M-Pesa transaction details and we will investigate.

4. Payment processing

All payments are handled by Paystack, a third-party payment processor, which initiates the M-Pesa charge on our behalf and notifies us when a payment succeeds or fails. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN. See our Privacy Policy for details on what payment-related data we receive and retain.

5. Free-access (SMS broadcast) links

From time to time we distribute shareable links, including via SMS, that grant temporary full access to listings without a subscription. These links are single-purpose, may expire or reach a usage limit, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice. Access granted through such a link is temporary and does not create any ongoing entitlement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, systematically extract, or republish listing content without our written permission;
Share your account, subscription access, or a broadcast link in a way designed to circumvent payment;
Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service, including its payment or webhook endpoints;
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information to an employer.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and original content are owned by Fliptel Jobs. Job listing content may be owned by the originating employer or source and is displayed under a licence or fair use for informational purposes. We respond to legitimate takedown requests — contact us via the Contact Us page.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in an interview, offer, or employment, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and an employer. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fliptel Jobs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses arising from reliance on a job listing or from a third-party payment processor's acts or omissions. Our total liability for any claim relating to a subscription is limited to the amount you paid for that subscription period.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including through abuse of the free-access mechanism or attempts to interfere with payment processing. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via the Contact Us page.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
